Q) Are your rums vegan?
Yes. 100% Vegan
Q) Are your rums gluten free?
Yes.
Q) Are your rums nut free?
Whilst our products are nut free, please be aware that our rum has been produced and bottled in a facility that also has nuts, specifically macadamia nuts.
Q) Is your rum real rum?
Yes! We tick all the boxes and some.
Rum is defined by Australian law as:
- A spirit at 37% ABV or above
- Aged in wood for a minimum of 2 years.
- Obtained by the distillation of a fermented liquor derived from the products of sugar cane, being distillation carried out in such a manner that the spirit possesses the taste, aroma and other characteristics generally attributed to rum.
We are Australian Certified Organic. 100% pure unadulterated rum. Nil additives. Nil Sugar.
Q) Where can I purchase Nil Desperandum rum products?
Nil Desperandum products are available for purchase from our distillery, online through our shop and at select liquor stores nationwide.
VISITING OUR DISTILLERY
Q) Can I visit the Nil Desperandum Distillery?
Yes, we are open daily from 10am to 5pm.

Q) Do I need to make a booking to visit the Distillery?
No bookings required for tastings & cocktails however a booking is required for our VIP Tour. You can book online here or contact us on day@nildesperandum.com.au
Q) Can I host a private event or corporate function?
Yes, private function hire is available. Please contact us on 0414 885 775 to arrange.
Q) Do you have food?
We serve some lovely local Woombye cheese with your tasting experience. You are welcome to bring along a picnic to enjoy on the lawn or visit one of the local restaurants nearby. Our team at the Distillery will gladly give some suggestions depending on what you are looking for.
Q) Are you dog friendly?
Yes, you are welcome to bring along Spot.
Q) Are you kid friendly?
Yes, happy to have the little babes and kids. We suggest you bring along a ball or some toys as there is plenty of open space for them to run around and play.
